Scouts go Dragon Boating!!

Some of the Scouts joined Scouts from across the District for a Dragon Boating event. It was held up at Green Withens Watersports Centre.
Over the course of the day, they managed to cover all of the requirements,for the Dragon Boating badge. These included training, before taking part in a series of races.
They also managed to learn how to build rafts, before taking the rafts onto the water to ‘test’ them out.
Overall, they all enjoyed the day. Hopefully there will be another event like this, at least once a year.
