About us

At the 69th Bradford South Scout Group, we are passionate about equipping young people with the skills they need to thrive in life. Our aim is to inspire them to make a positive difference in the world.

About Us

At Scouts, we’re all about action and adventure.

Sure, we love camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling, and canoeing. But it’s not just about the activities—we also get to connect with friends, have fun, play games, work as a team, and take on exciting new challenges together every week.

At the 69th Bradford South Scout Group, we’re dedicated to preparing young people for life. We help them build essential skills, develop confidence, and make a real difference in the world around them.

Through our diverse range of activities, Scouts learn valuable life skills such as survival techniques, first aid, cooking, and expedition planning—skills that can even lead to achieving the Duke of Edinburgh Awards. It’s the perfect blend of adventure, creativity, and personal growth.

We believe in the power of community. We embrace diversity and stand firmly against intolerance, creating an inclusive and welcoming space for all. As part of the global Scouting movement, we’re working to build stronger, more connected communities and inspire positive futures for everyone involved.
