About us

At the 69th Bradford South Scout Group, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. They can learn to make a difference within the World.

About Us

Scouts are do-ers and give-it-a-go-ers.

Yes, we go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling and canoeing. But we also get to hang out with our friends every week – having fun, playing games, working in a team and taking on new challenges.

At the 69th Bradford South Scout Group, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. They can learn to make a difference within the World.

All while learning survival skills, first aid, cooking and even expedition skills that can lead on to Duke of Edinburgh Awards. It’s a great way to have fun, make friends, get outdoors, express your creativity and experience the wider world.

We believe in bringing people together. We celebrate diversity and stand against intolerance, always. We’re part of a worldwide movement, creating stronger communities and inspiring positive futures.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
