The Cubs and Scout sections from the 69th Bradford South had their Christmas Social event this past Tuesday.
It was held at the Halifax Ski & Snowboard Centre. Where the Young People got to have a go at Snow Tubing. Yes it was cold, however the excitement of the Cubs and Scouts made up for the weather.
The Cubs had the first session, whilst the Scouts took the second.
In each session, they started out going down the slope on their own, before setting off as a tandem then as a large group. As they went on more runs, they got progressively higher and higher up the slope. All of this, was followed by pizza and chips afterwards!!
The Young People all thoroughly enjoyed their time on the slope.
